About Direct Drinks

Direct Drinks have been in the coffee machine business since 1980, from an era when cars could be fixed by the driver, on the roadside, with just a pair of tights and a single (heavy duty) spanner.

Nowdays, where cars can only be fixed by computer, the coffee business looks very different to how it looked in 1980 too.

Bean-to-cup machines are "the norm", offering exceptional quality "coffee shop" standard espresso based drinks, as well as hot water for tea and hot chocolate for those long cold winter days and nights (which feels like most of the summer these days too !). However, they also come with the benefit of "advanced technology", which means we have to be careful when choosing the machine, and the supplier, to ensure if things do stop working, the skills and manpower are available to get things working again (which means people with vans, willing to come to your site and fix things).  Bearing in mind no-one even notices the coffee machine when it's doing it's job, but all work stops when the coffee machine stops !

Vending machines are more to do with snacks and even umberellas now, rather than horrible tasting coffee (although that is still out there), and the UK's taste for a "proper coffee" has been enhanced by the offerings from the big chains which now seem to be on every street corner, and are starting to gather momentum in finding a niche within larger companies own premises.

Office coffee remains core business for DirectDrinks, with great products from companies like Flavia^® and KLIX^™ being the mainstay solutions, offering a great price / quality combination.
