We will come to your premises (or you can come to our training center if you
prefer) and we will train up to four staff in the art of the Barista.
This is an essential course is designed to provide your staff with the skills and confidence required to serve your customers with high quality drinks, in an efficient manner, while ensuring your equipment is treated with respect, is maintained correctly, and hence serves you and your customers without expensive downtime and maintenance.
- A brief overview of coffee beans, blends, and the differences the bean makes to the final espresso
- Overview of the mechanics of the espresso machine, what part performs what function, and how to keep it working at it's best
- What to look out for on a machine to indicate it may not be performing at it's best, hence affecting the quality of the drink
- How to set up and maintain the grinder
- Portion control and tamping
- Extraction
- The milk; what type, storage, frothing, re-using, working
- Drink selection, menu creation and flavours
- End of day procedures and ongoing practice
